RP RULES
The Ageless Realm RP Ruleset is designed to focus on characters and their development rather than meta-gaming and other game breaking mechanics.
#1 & #2
# 1. Avoid Metagaming and PowerGaming. Metagaming is using knowledge gathered via OOC (Out-of-character) means and using it IC (In-character). An example would be reading a rp chat you are not active in and commenting on the Actions done in character in another.
# 2. If you plan on doing something to another person's character that results in long-term changes, such as inducing an injury, get permission from the admin team first.

# 3. Respect everyone’s storylines - if person X and person Y have an ongoing storyline with a specific end desired for it, try your best to respect their wishes.
# 4. Any communication with gods or deities, etc., should consult an admin. This is to ensure we don't have any players saying they are the bastard son of Yog, or extreme champion of Mitra.

# 5. Your character must exist within the Conan universe. Your character must be of your own creation, you can not play as a character that already exists (Ex: from a video game, movie, TV show, comic, ect..)
# 6. Players can be a NPC, but not both a player and NPC. A dedicated NPC is one that can effect story lines. Other NPC’s are allowed however they may not hold an important roll in character development. Try not to have NPC’s start conversations, however giving personalities are perfectly fine. A Dedicated NPC would be able to leave on their own will where regular NPC’s cannot leave their area without a character guiding them. These guidelines are the only limits to your RP— and that's even if you wish to call them 'limits'.
