CRIME SYSTEM: FAQ

MURDER

Murder is allowed but discouraged. A player can attempt to commit murder on a NPC IF AND ONLY IF it fits their characters RP, or if they have a contract agreement. Players cannot murder another player randomly, unless it is agreed upon between the two parties, or if one is RP'ing as an assassin that has an admin approved contract. Remember RP always trumps everything.

THEFT

Theft is allowed but discouraged. A player can attempt to steal from an NPC IF AND ONLY IF it fits their characters RP, or they have a contract agreement.

When attempting to steal, you immediately initiate a roll by typing !1d20 in the discord channel. If you roll under 10 you fail and are caught. If you roll a 10-15 you may steal one item. If you roll 16-19 you may take two items. If you roll a 20 you may take 3 items.

MISCELLANIOUS

PETTY CRIMES: For those who are not professional criminals, they may find themselves committing a "petty crime". Petty Crimes include but are not limited to vandalism, horse theft, perjury. Each hold will have their own set of what classifies of a petty Crime.

CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY: These are allowed but highly, highly discouraged. These must be approved by an admin and fit RP criteria.

Crimes against humanity would include but are not limited to: necromancy, genocide, war crimes, cannibalism, terrorism, etc. Each hold will have their own classifications of crimes against humanity.

BOUNTIES

If you get you caught in the act, leave a trail, or do not RP the crime committed well enough the hold that the crime was committed in will then issue out a warrant and a bounty on the offender.

The bounty will have four options:

1.) You pay off your bounty immediately (depending of the offense, such as crimes against humanity and murder)
2.) You attempt to flee the situation (this will initiate a roll on discord. The highest roll wins. To intiate a roll type !1d20 in the proper discord channel)
3.) You submit and let them take you in and prepare you for trial
4.) You attempt to fight (could result in another crime)

Everything must be Rp'ed as RP trumps everything.
