PVP RULES

The PVP Rule Set is designed to compliment RP within the Conan Exiles game mechanics.

PVP RULE SET

# 1 & #2

# 1. When a players dies in a Rp pvp situation that is that players only death. Which will result in a reroll for the deceased player! Your character is dead.

# 2. War: (High Risk Event) War (and all events leading up to it) must first be RPd as thoroughly as possible. All terms and conditions must be decided upon before anything takes place, and admins must be notified with specifics (i.e., time, date, conditions, etc.) War will take place in stages, leading up to a server-wide event. They are as follows:

I. In the event if the character joins a kingdom they may initiate a war with another faction as both Kingdoms will attack what they see fit outside of the countries capitol, so long as it is agreed upon by both sides. Again, no other Kingdoms may participate in these stages. This stage will take no longer than one hours for both parties. (That is, 1 hours each)

II. Server-wide event: The two Kingdoms may RP the calling upon their allies to participate in the battle. Battle conditions will be decided WITH an admin by both countries thus leading to a last-man/woman-standing battle Royale. This event can be watched by anyone but only those involved (such as two participating Kingdoms and any allies) may participate.
A cool-down of a week will take place before any more RP aiming to start either RAIDING and WAR may happen.



#3 & #4

# 3. Prisoners:  If you are hit only once, combat is initiated and you must submit or fight for your freedom (no running); As indicated by dice roll. (11-20 your choice, 10 or below auto submit) When a player reaches 25% health, they are taken prisoner (for those attacking) or they escape (for those that are trespassing). However, if you are hit two (2) times consecutively with a truncheon then you are knocked out and can be taken prisoner at the discretion of your captor. Some form of RP must come from this interaction to establish an outcome. Rulers must always be notified of a prisoner being taken captive. If any discrepancies/problems arise, you MUST provide PlayStation's automatically saved video footage to admins , otherwise there is nothing we can do to help!

# 4. Player vs Player interactions: Must be in RP. Needs to fit within the development of both parties.

# 5. Kill on Sight(KoS) is banned on the server, with one exceptions. An assassin on an admin approved contract with appropriate role play behind it may attack the target of their contract without a standard PvP initiation sequence.

# 6. Proper PvP Intent

Steps to RESIST Example*:
Declan scoffs, glaring at the man opposite him as his hand moves to grip the hilt of his sword. “I will take your tongue for that insult. Defend yourself or kneel before me, worm.” The Jarl draws his sword from its scabbard and moves to attack Hagrid.
Declan shouts: (( PvP Intent ))

Hagrid raises a brow, stepping back and readying his spear. “You may try, my good sir, but it will be you who suffers injury for having the gall to attack me.” Hagrid shouts: (( PvP Intent ))

Both players respond to the scenario with a role play post and an out of character intent to engage in player vs player combat. If you are acting as a group you should state something about your group in your role play post, ordering them to attack the other party or otherwise indicating them in the statement.

Proper PvP Intent Steps to FLEE*
Digby smiles dryly at Ismerelda, hand on the hilt of his sword. “Your money or your life, wench.” Digby shouts: (( PvP Intent ))

Ismerelda turns on her heel and flees, leaping over her bar and attempting to escape her attacker. Ismerelda shouts: (( PvP Flee ))

The start of PvP is never until both parties have typed OOC their intention to flee. The emote describing your decision to flee is superfluous here and may be skipped in favor of simply shouting your OOC intention to flee from the PvP combat. YOU CANNOT port your way out of PvP even if your intent is to flee. You must flee on foot.

Ismerelda scowls, reaching under the bar and retrieving a pouch of coins. She places the coins on the table, glaring at Digby. “Here, everything I have on me. Take it and leave.”

Both players have provided a role play response to the player vs player intent with Ismerelda surrendering to the demands made by Digby in his statement. Role play would continue naturally at this point with no player vs player combat.

NLR: This stands for ”New Life Rule.” Meaning that when you’ve died you cannot return to the spot that you died until all combat/PVP has ended. During times of war, battles and raids this is especially true and you MUST wait until an official invitation to return by the winning party.

These are simply to establish good and proper roleplaying so that everyone can enjoy themselves. Please, take the time to familiarize yourself with them as ignorance of these is not a valid excuse.
