PROFESSION RULES

ALL CHARACTERS ARE ABLE TO ENTER THE WORK FIELD, TO EARN AN EXTRA COIN OR TO FULFILL THEIR OWN WANTS AND DESIRES, IF THEY SO CHOOSE TO. HOWEVER ALL CHARACTERS ARE LIMITED TO ONLY ONE PROFESSION. THIS CREATES MORE BUSINESS THROUGHOUT THE TRADES.

TO LEARN A PROFESSION, THE CHARACTER MUST VISIT A MASTER IN THEIR CRAFT AND LEARN FROM THEM.

ALCHEMY

Alchemists are masters of chemistry: mixing and brewing potions, poisons, and even bombs to perfection. One needs a steady hand to become an alchemist with a vast knowledge of herbs, minerals, and toxins.


An Alchemist can only use and craft what is inside the alchemy table.

Ex. An Alchemist would not have the knowledge or expertise to craft armor or weapons.

ARMORER

The Armorer is more than just a person who throws scraps of metal and leather together. The person who becomes an armorer has attention for even the smallest detail from a leather strap to a metal ribbon. The armor works mostly in hide and metal. However, to get high quantity and quality amounts of hide, an armorer will need to visit the hunter.


An Armorer can only use and work inside their workbench.

Ex. An Armorer would not have the experience and time to go out and cut down wood like a lumberjack would.

BLACKSMITH

A master of the hammer and anvil, the Blacksmith is very specialized in weapons and tools. A smith will find most of their days by the heat of forge and hammering of the anvil. Which comes the forming and of shaping of iron and steel into your desired shapes. Becoming a black smith is not easy work from the shaping on the anvil, to quenching in the buckets then finally making the razor-sharp edges. 

A Blacksmith can only use and work inside their workbench.

Ex. A Blacksmith would not have the time nor prior experience searching out ore veins, and would leave that to the miner

BREWER

Finding that perfect taste of Ale is the Brewer's cruse. The Brewmaster is a spinoff of the Cook with a more RP focus. The Brewer has a low dependency on other trades. However, they rarely step out of the tavern unless its for supplies.​


The Brewer only crafts in his proficiency.

Ex. A Brewer would not have the expertise and prior knowledge to forge steel.

BUILDER

From the most uncomplicated house to the most elaborate palace, there is always a builder whose name is in the details. A builder is a visionary one who can see space not for what it is but what it could become. Where everyone can build there own home. Only a builder can create their castle. For any building outside of the housing, a builder is required for hire.​


Builders will only craft in their artisan table to create building pieces. (Foundation, walls, roof, etc.)

Ex. A Builder would not have the expertise to craft their set of armor.

COOK

Everyone is a cook to some degree, but if you are looking for a real meal and not just bugs, you will need a cook. Cooks are mostly found in cities and taverns across the realm. This profession is also pretty self-dependent except for the meat which comes from a hunter. A cook can also be coupled with a Brewing.


Cooks only craft in their proficiency. 

Ex. A Cook would not have the expertise and prior knowledge to construct large buildings.

DESIGNER

The art of woodworking crating and molding wood into household objects such as chairs and tables. The Designer is always busy filling up the living spaces of the Realm with décor. The Designer will need to work closely with the lumberjack.​


Designers only craft in their artisan table to create only their products.

Ex. A Designer would not have the time, expertise and prior knowledge to track and hunt animals in the lands.

FASHIONEER

The fashioner is a low impact Rp heavy variant of armorsmith. The fashioner is responsible for the aesthetics of armor with the use of dyes and war paints.​


A Fashioneer will only work within their proficiency.

Ex. A Fashioneer would not have the expertise or prior knowledge to produce other potions that of an alchemist with proper training would.

HUNTER

It takes a particular set of skills to hunt and kill animals stealth, tracking, covering scents. That is why you do not see more of them. The Hunter supplies the market with meat, leather, hides, and furs. The Hunter can also make traps and lures.​


Hunters will only hunt and produce within their proficiency. 

Ex. A Hunter would not have the expertise or prior knowledge to forge steel.

MERCHANT

Not everyone has an eye for business, watching the rise and fall of prices across the Realm. A Merchant is one that does observe the market, what sells for two coins here could sell for five over there. Merchants are the only class that can buy and sell anything. However, the merchant can not produce anything organically. Merchant usually have some crazy items on them, such as repair kits for weapons and armor.


Merchants will only work in their proficiency.

Ex. Merchants would not have the prior knowledge and expertise to tame animals.

THRALLER

A thraller is a select group of people, a person with not many morals. For a thraller partakes in enslaving a person, which is to taking a living being out of there natural habitat and forcing them to do your will.​


Thrallers only work in their proficiency. 

Ex. Thrallers would not have the prior knowledge and expertise to produce dyes and other cosmetic applications.

TAMER

For those who feel a connection with animals and the ability to train them, this is for you. To be a tamer, you need a better relationship with animals. Then you have with most people. The rise of exotic pets has been on the rise, and those people look to you to fill this new role.​


A Tamer will only work in their proficiency.

Ex. A Tamer would not have the prior knowledge and expertise to craft building decor.

MINER

Behind every rock could be a gem just waiting for you to pick it up. The Miner is a heavy Rp class with the focus of mining. There is no cave to dark or mountain too high for the Miner. The Miner primarily gathers rock but also grabs other rare drops from mining.​


Miners will only work in their proficiency.

Ex. A Miner would not have the expertise or proficiency to craft

LUMBERJACK

With each swing of the Axe, the tree comes just a little closer to falling. Does a tree make a sound when it falls in the woods? Well, the Lumberjack could answer that for you. Another substantial Rp profession the Lumberjack supports the economy by bringing in the forest, from the wood used to heat your home to the wall being built. The Lumberjack is a staple for the stability of the Realm.​


Lumberjacks will only work in their proficiency.

Ex. A Lumberjack would not have the expertise or proficiency to craft potions or other alchemy properties.

BOUNTY HUNTER

Bounty Hunters will take contracts from the local holds or from other player characters. Bounty Hunters will then investigate the crime and follow the trail tin attempts to bring in the criminal dead or alive. If the bounty is on another active player they must attempt to bring them in alive at all costs first. RP trumps everything.

A Bounty Hunter must work only in their proficiency.

Ex. A Bounty Hunter would not have the proficiency or expertise to craft furniture for player homes.

MISCELLANEOUS

Certain Holds or Points of Interests may have Special Jobs or Sub Professions based on your character's chosen class and profession. This will be heavily RP'ed
